From the charges against him, Wheeler was being held on $7,500 bail on charges including possession of cocaine with intent to sell, escape and resisting without violence, it seems they did not charge him with use; what were they thinking, he was saving it up to sell as cocaine "wine?"

if you think about it, the hospital staff wanted the sample, probably to judge how much coke he was on and to administer something to bring him down. You haven't had to care for people hospitalized for a coke/meth OD have you? While I think the taser was uncalled for (he was already restrained, and obviously not going anywhere) there is the medical issue to deal with.

When medical staff tried to insert a catheter to get the sample, Wheeler refused and began thrashing aroundCatheters aren't always comfortable. I'd probably thrash to if someone tried ramming a straw down my urethra.

This guy is going to be one rich addict, and the cop is going to be looking for a new line of work.

Using the $100,000 award limit for 4 oz. urine that comes to $3.2 million per gallon.
At those prices.... coming to an ebay auction near you......

This one doesn't look good for the cops. We haven't sunken to this level in this country yet.
I hope.

I guess that little bit about "nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself" doesn't apply in the WOD.No constituitional amendments apply to the WOsD
