I agree with you on all of it. I don't think he was and outstanding individual at all. He flew the missions and spent the time as a POW. As an U. S. Air Force veteran I won't forget any of that. I wish he wasn't in congress though he paid his dues.

Have you any idea what the savings and loan debacle cost this country?

He abandoned his wife when he returned home.

From what I can see, he is rarely if ever, home with his second wife, who recently had a stroke.

I hate that he represents this country when he travels abroad.

Yes, McCain served his country. No one can take that from him. But let's face it. Benedict Arnold served his country too. Indeed, Arnold's military record was far more impressive than McCain's.

Benedict Arnold led the Continental Army to many victories; he exhausted his personal fortune to pay his troops; he received serious wounds that crippled him for life.

But, in the end, he turned traitor.
