Local channel 2 is reporting the guy got weapons and ammo from both deputies. Smart crooks are an anomaly, but you're right, they're the scary kind.
That's just great. So, let's see. Assuming the earlier report of a gun found at the scene is incorrect, he's got two Glock 22s, with between 16 and 18 rounds in each. Most cops carry two reloads; let's assume he got two mags from each deputy, and that they were 17 round extended mags (common for cops to carry as reloads. That's 36 rounds in the guns, 68 in mags, 104 total. He supposedly fired four or five times, so he's got 99 or 100 rounds of ammo, worst case scenario.
I hope you Georgians broke out the Class 3s and the beltfeds. Or at least the drums and Beta-C's.
