This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

"They haven't located him yet." I wonder how many civvies are driving around Atlanta with their gun in their laps? If I were a big, black male, I'd stay inside for a while.

The Mods are afraid of him...That's because I have the negatives, their name, the name of the three other people involved, the youth organization to which they belonged, and the shop where you bought the equipment.

**he tried to smuggle some shanks into the courtroom**
Ignorant here - what are shanks?

No. This guy as a rap sheet. No idea what you are rambling about. This was the first day of a re-trial for rape of his gilfriend/wife/more or less significant other. Among other things.
Just another goblin.

Maybe we should ban them from carrying guns. It would make the court system safer, just like it makes the rest of us safer when gun ownership is totally banned for the general population...Someone finally gets it--thank you.
These are the people we're supposed to call rather than arm and defend ourselves. I vote "no confidence".

According to Fox news, this guy was out on bond, not cuffed and wearing street clothes. Since he was out on bond, why did he shoot up the court room? Why didn't he just take off and head for Mexico? He was incarcerated, but dressed in street clothes for trial. This is per a witness interview on WXIA.

I can't believe that with cell phones and radio alerts, plus knowing what kind of car the guy is switching to because of the car jackings, that they can't locate the vehicles he's in.
If he's carjacking more cars, he must be abandoning the previous ones. It seems to me that would be making a trail to follow.
The traffic around Atlanta is so thick, I can understand how a helicopter couldn't locate him, but one the ground observers and drivers, especially those with cell phones seem to be the way to try to track the guy.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think your argument is applicable to those people in the courtroom today who were dead when the paramedics arrived.

Perhaps he raped her first, then kidnapped her. I would think that would be called "aggrivated."

Well, I'd say it's about time to get some helos up to pinpoint this animal. jeez.
