Up is down, left is right, right is wrong. The day is coming when we're going to have to take America back from the socialists, communists and looney leftists.

The despoilers: morally insane black-robed tyrants; perverse media; legislators of corrupted laws; deviants; and the seething armies of Orks who serve as enforcers, declared that God is dead; that His moral laws, created order, and absolutes don't exist. "Man's reason is all there is," they triumphantly exclaimed as they set about the crazed business of bringing salvation to themselves by delivering society from the oppressive 'evils' wrought by obedience to and belief in moral principles and high standards. The equality we hear them continually speaking of will finally be accomplished when they've managed to completely deprave our culture, to destroy our Constitutional Republic; and to drag everyone down into the sewer where they dwell. Honor, courage, fidelity, personal accountability, authority, honesty, respect, dignity, commitment: indeed all virtue is anathema to the wicked and must be eradicated in order for them to feel comfortable.

They are gossips, slanderers, Godhaters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:30-32

Common sense, traditional values Americans increasingly find themselves shaking their heads in bewilderment ...

Good article.

I have used the "through the looking glass" example may times. It is truly, truly bizarre that simple common sense statements concerning society are condemned as "hate speech"-- and the lunatics get away with it time after time.

I am going to continue to think it is weird and abhorent for two guys to prance around in pink tutu's. I don't intend to pay any attention to the "needs" of a transgendered what-ever-you-call-it. And the government and the ivory tower academics will leave my ass alone regarding how I regard those matters. I promise you they will.

I don't think that the Red Queen's croquet game is really an apt metaphor for cruelty... as the illustration posted at the top of the thread indicates, Alice herself didn't have any problem taking part in the game.

Also, the mallets and balls were not exactly being tortured to death. There is no indication in the passage that the animals were anything other than puzzled and perhaps annoyed:

"The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo: she succeeded in getting its body tucked away, comfortably enough, under her arm, with its legs hanging down, but generally, just as she had got its neck nicely straightened out, and was going to give the hedgehog a blow with its head, it would twist itself round and look up in her face, with such a puzzled expression that she could not help bursting out laughing: and when she had got its head down, and was going to begin again, it was very provoking to find that the hedgehog had unrolled itself, and was in the act of crawling away..."

-- Alice in Wonderland, ch. VIII

It doesn't take much imagination to envision what would happen to the head, neck, and bill of a flamingo were it to be used as a 'club'. Lewis Carroll expected us to make use of our imaginations to 'fill in the blanks'.

As for Alice taking part in the game......naturally she did. She found herself transported to a world of insanity and she realized that she had to make the best of her situation while simultaneously not losing her own sanity.

I believe that this sort of behavior has always been practiced among us.

The internet and 24/7 cable news...or programming in general has made it impossible for any medium to remain solvent without resorting to raising ordinarily "tabloid" topics to headline status.

It's one of the side effects of the blogoshere, IMO.

This morning I was treated to a pair of pandas practicing foreplay... being "spyed" upon by cameras.

I am being Michael Jacksoned to death...after being Scott Petersoned to a pulp...and listening to newsreaders fretting over whether Martha Stewart's hairstyle upon leaving prison was in a flip or a bob.

In the end, it helps the Conservative point of view because there is no way with all this immoral behavior coming into our living rooms will be accepted as mainstream.

Sorry for rambling...
