Also, let's not forget that there are many other heroes.
Monday, we welcomed a coworker back from 2 years over in Iraq and Afghanistan (National Guard...2 years overseas.....>sigh<)
Yesterday, another coworker--a civilian right here at home--was killed.
It's kind of a reminder that death can touch us anywhere, and there are many people serving over there who haven't died, but are still risking it every day. We must all cherish the freedoms they bring us, and remember that each day could be our last.
