"But, he keeps finding ways to make me watch again. It's almost like he has a subconscious (or conscious) desire to do the bizzare because he knows it makes people pay attention. And any attention he considers to be good, I guess. Like the child misbehaving - just to get attention, even if he is going to be reprimanded."

Reminds me of Paris Hilton, although, certainly, to a far lesser degree. Somehow this no-talent flake is shrewd enough to manipulate the media. Because she's rich & connected, her antics make her all the more ridiculous. But any attention, even negative, is an aphrodisiac to a narcissist.

I can't imagine any of these people getting older. Hilton, at least, has a certain sophistication. And she knows not to take herself too seriously; it's as if she's in on the joke. She might age somewhat more gracefully.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, is so tragically delusional and so badly stunted that, even assuming he is acquitted, he'll end up a scared, lonely clown, hiding forever inside a house of mirrors. Unless he kills himself first -- a very likely possibility.

I'll be praying for Michael as well. Innocent until proven guilty . Of course, this is something new here. Most Freepers enjoy expressing their "compassionate side" whenever they get the chance.

Nancy Grace will probably cover a lot of it on her show on CNN Headline News. Same time as O'Reilly and probably much more interesting tonight.

I'll spread some rumors here I read on other sites:

Suppposely Jackson's "people" found him on the floor this morning, drugged up, so they took him to the hospital, hoping to get him admitted and get a "real diagnosis" to satisfy the court so he wouldn't have to go to court today; he'd been up all night, they say. But the judge said one hour, which explains the pajamas.

I agree. Could you imagine if Michael woke up sane one morning. After getting over the horrific shock of looking in the mirror, the mental reflections of previous years would probably be worse.

I read that too somewhere. Also that Jackson was up all night at the house worrying about where to find the $$ to pay his employees who haven't been paid for two weeks.

Hey, you are right. I came to some similar conclusions: See my posts 863, 885. The back problem is a fraud. Something else happened. Maybe an attempt at something?

" I got lambasted last time I said this, but I don't think he's a bad person, I think he's a disturbed person who needs a lot of help."

I think you are pretty close to it. I think his emotional age is around 12. Should he do jail time for being Wacko Jacko? Hard to tell.

I got lambasted last time I said this, but I don't think he's a bad person, I think he's a disturbed person who needs a lot of help.

Today proved that, IMO.

I believe the more he hears in court (because I believe the people around him have kept the evidence and the danger of this case away from him), I believe he's going to completely fall apart and unravel right before our very eyes.

I don't think he'll make it to the end of the trial without being carried into the courtroom.

Did you just see what O'Reilly reported? The victim testified that he molested him.... OMG! I was kinda open to maybe he was innocent... but now? I'm feeling like maybe he did it.

Either way he is in one hell of a mess. Either way the the trial goes he is going to have to reign in his lifestyle, can't afford it anymore. I cannot imagine having a 350,000,000.00 loan outstanding.

Supposedly he has a skin disease, I can't remember the name, but I know it exists. It makes him ultra sensitive to the sun, hence why he started on the facials, etc. For that I don't find fault with him. But it does add to the bizzare atmosphere.

The bizarre star is in debt for at least $200 million he has borrowed to maintain his preference for $10,000-a-night hotel suites at the Four Seasons, his $50 million Neverland ranch and assorted perks. Much of the loan came from Sony, and Jackson put up as collateral his 50% interest in Sony ATV, which owns 300,000 songs, including 200 Beatles titles. Jackson also owns songs recorded by Elvis Presley and other stars. His publishing holdings are now worth about $450 million.

-----

I read today that Sony took them because Jackson didn't make a payment on his loan; I am not sure whether it's true or not.
