The judge has given Michael Jackson one hour to get to court or he will be arrested per Fox News!
I guess. It's still sad...for everyone.
I hate to say this, I really do, but your pre-formatted calls to prayer have been reduced to the impact of flashy popup ads or spam when you over-use them for causes as questionable as this one.
He's not seeking strength, he's feigning weakness. He is now suffering only in the sense that a spoiled child who bawls to avoid punishment is suffering.
It's sad but there are things that are unacceptable and he's crossed the line many times and it's time to be held accountable.
Sad and hard to watch but it must be done.
OMG yes I have hear of that OJ joke about John Elway being in next OJ movie LOLOLOL
Well, another sign that makes me think there was no aching back. If it was his back, and it was bad enough to need an ambulance to go back, one would have brought him. Or he would have had a wheelchair. There is no backache. The ambulance is probably there at the order of the judge who wants him returned to the hospital.
I think Jackson took too many pills or something to avoid going through this. That is why he was so dishelved, groggy, etc. I know it could have been from meds in the hospital for pain. But I have a chronic pain condition, and when I am given strong meds I am not alert enough to know if there are people around me. He responded to the cheering crowds quite normally - waving, then buttoning his coat and walking. When I have strong meds I am out of it, I cannnot begin to think about my appearance, or wave or anything. Period.
Jackson is evidently going back in the hospital "to be observed," and the judge probably knows the truth. That is why he just proceeded with the trial today. The judge is the only one that the doctors could have told the real truth too, because of the HEPA laws. And so, knowing Jackson is, perhaps, pushed to the possibility of doing something drastic, the judge agreed to have the trial and Jackson go back to the hospital where he will have psychiatric and medical care.
If had had been his back, truly, someone would have been prepared to meet him at the court with a change of clothes, etc. There is more to this. I suspect the family felt Jackson would stay in the hospital, that this backache story would fly, and the judge would cancel today's testimony. They got a big surprise. The family (or whoever took him to the ER) also know the truth, but surely won't say what it is.
I know. When I was watching the Grammy's and saw Usher I kept thinking how good Jackson could have been if he just stayed on the right track. I don't think he'll be convicted, unless there's a lot more evidence than this.
You can say that about everyone...it's of their own making. But MJ definitely has some mental illness in him that has gone either untreated or treated with too many drugs by Doctors willing to take the money. It's such a sad story all around. I got lambasted last time I said this, but I don't think he's a bad person, I think he's a disturbed person who needs a lot of help.
Court out...spokesperson says MJ will be back in court on Monday. Going home now.
I heard that on Fox as I walked in the room.
Before I had left the room 10 min ago I had Court TV on and a CBS analyst/lawyer was telling Catherine Crier that the accuser is a very good witness (as lawyers put it) and comes across as very honest and credible.
Jackson just left the courthouse...waving and turning sharply around....bad back!...BS...I have a bad back and you just can't make those moves when it is acting up....
This is bad:
He acts like a not overly bright 12 year old trying to impress his friends. From the sound of the testimony that's what he thinks he is.
A disturbed person who does bad things is still dangerous and needs to be stopped and pay for his crimes. Otherwise every murderer, rapist, child molester, theif, could say "Gee I am not bad, I am just disturbed." (Which many of them do say.) Should we just let them run around and feel sorry for them and pray behind our bolted doors, and say...oh, they are not so BAD? Where do you draw the line. Jackson is just disturbed....but, oh, the kidnapper who never harmed the child, just took the child, that is bad? The man who robbed the bank - is bad? Or is he just "disturbed?"
Jackson had enough mental capabilities to survive quite well, and should have accepted help long ago. Others advised him so. He ignored them. If you are sick, and are told you are sick, and don't get help, you suffer the consequences. Michael must pay for his actions, even if he is not guilty of molestation, he has continually acted in a bizzare manner. Now it is time to pay the piper.
It is not that I wish him suffering, it is that I am not willing to excuse him just "because he is sick." I can only hope justice is served, he will become "enlightened" and in the meantime have no accessability to children ever again.
And if today's episode doesn't prove his fear of hearing /facing the truth from the witness, I don't know what else does. If he gets away with this just imagine the future of court trials. There will be little way to maintain control over criminals. There will be new antics and circuses in every court in the land.
Most of us, thank God, have someone who loves us enough to pull us back from jumping off the cliff. The people who have tried to pull Michael back have been burned over and over again. If you believe he is mentally ill, then he needs to be hospitalized and a guardian appointed for him.
His parents and family are incapable of acting in his own best interests. I believe he is someone who has never had to listen to the word no. Well reality has struck this time and the bill rendered with a past due notification on it. Must be hell having to face the consequences of his own decisions and find that his choices have left him personally bankrupt.
If he was in the child's wing again, the judge will pull bail.
Thanks for the reply, Yaelle, couldn't agree with you more. And taking advantage of and possibly molesting any kid, esp. an ill one? Whew -- major evil there, for sure. . . .
Ya know, I always try to understand others' situations rather than just condemn 'em -- makes life more interesting & pleasant that way. Btw, where do I pick up my fruitcake? So glad to have won a prize . . . . ; )
It looks like the judge rescinded the arrest warrant ,restored bond..MJ does have physical problems brought on by the stress, IMHO..
He could have called his lawyer..He could have had his driver, servant, keeper call his lawyer..The judge let him get away with it without verbal admonishment.
Doesn't Jackson own Apple Records and/or the rights to a good portion of the songs by the Beatles? If so, that has to makes a LARGE sum of money for him every year in royalties...
Diane Diamond just broke up the Dan Abrams panel discussion of Michael's uncombed hair and pajamas to remind them that a boy testified in court today about being molested by Jackson.
Michael managed to take the spotlight off of the actual testimony and onto his own lateness..
The judge may have wanted him back to the hospital for observation of overmedication, IMHO.
Defense lawyer is very good..but was really loud and talking over the accuser today..He has not yet broken the boy..Tune in Monday.
Yes you are right. Personally I would have revoked the bail and let him spend the weekend in the joint with the fellas. Then questioned him again on Monday morning if he now understood the necessity of being on time and appropriately dressed. If MJ answers yes, the judges says if you are one minute late again you will be staying there until the trial was over.
After that I hope, Michael would finally get the message this is the real deal and act appropriately.
