Yeah - that was a pretty vivid description, the nitwit anchor bimbo thinks it's going to work... she actually thinks he may be more sympathetic than his accuser...
I wouldn't believe he was in pain for one minute, and the more he tried to distract the jury during this testimony, the more I'd wish he ~was~ in pain.

I read that this morning and noted that the witch just couldn't keep from mentioning WMD, etc. What an elitist snob.
I personally think the "abusive father" business has been hyped well beyond what the reality was and they like to use it to excuse anything and everything.
He's one of those adults that you feel hasn't had much negative said to him for the last 20 or so years. He needs more chewing out sessions. Because he has been so cosseted, he really thinks he can get away with all kinds of crap.

But, he keeps finding ways to make me watch again. It's almost like he has a subconscious (or conscious) desire to do the bizzare because he knows it makes people pay attention. And any attention he considers to be good, I guess. Like the child misbehaving - just to get attention, even if he is going to be reprimanded.
Perhaps scientists will discover that celebrity is a virus that can infect the psyche's immune system as pervasively as HIV takes over the body's. It infected everyone in the Jackson case from the accuser's family to the defendant himself.
