" Pivoting like a ballerina & waving would've brought me to my knees, sobbing uncontrollably."

I am missing the two bottom discs in my back and can affirm the pain can put me on my back. It varies from relative pain free to excruciating. Sometimes I can move freely and sometimes the slightest twist will ring forth a groan.

I had to retire because I could no longer walk more than 100 yards (which is now 50 yards) without pausing to sit.

MJ did NOT appear to be suffering anything of the sorts but in his defense, the back and pains associated can be so diverse as to make it impossible to diagnose without first hand examination.

Michael Jackson is escorted into the court house by his father Joseph Jackson (R) after arriving late for his molestation trial at Santa Barbara County Superior Court in Santa Maria, California, March 10, 2005. Jackson arrived at his sex abuse trial from a hospital a few minutes after the deadline set by the judge who had given him one hour to get to court or risk jail and forfeiture of his $3 million bail.

I think you're right about that. The man who lives in a make-believe place has to face reality. What a story.

He may be drugged ... the hospital could have given him pain relief--

I think that is exactly what I said. Either medicated in the hosp. while they performed tests, x-rays,etc. Or he medicated himself before the hospital. Then fell out of bed or something. Or...tried something with too many pills??? No one will ever know because of the new laws. But, maybe he had his stomach pumped!?

Outrageous. There are clearly two justice systems and celebrity and $$ buys one than most of us aren't entitled to. Nice, huh?

Well this Judge should put MJ's celebrity to good use. Have the $3M bail revoked to pay back the good people of CA who are footing the bill for his daily police escort.

CNN's Judy Woodruff says to a CNN reporter, "Now for all our viewers who haven't been keeping up, would you tell us what this trial is all about."

Tell me your pulling our leg.

After I saw the photo of the lawyer, I figured out it was subtle satire.

Even buttoning his jacket. Obsessed with his appearance, even when in supposed "pain." What a fraud. I saw him get out of the limo, walk normally, turn his head, turn his body, wave. Then start to take baby steps, but he made it in and up the steps.

He could do none of that with a back pain severe enough to require a trip to the ER. A regular, uncomfortable backache, maybe. But if he went to the ER and then walked, moved, and waved, he is just pretending - again.

Supposedly, according to a reporter on Court TV, Jackson came into the courtroom (after changing his clothes in the men's room) sat down and was crying.

Raymone Bain, MJ spokesman, says that MJ went to hospital at 5:30 and she's trying to figure out what the delay was at the hospital because it was his intention to be in court on time.

Frankly I love when this woman speaks as it's only to remove one foot to insert another in her stupid mouth. If he intended to be in court on time was that his chosen outfit or did he intend to change in a moving car with terrible back pain? Doesn't this woman realize that this Judge (who is against T-shirts in his court) might be interested in learning he chose to wear PJ's to court.

Judge said to the jury: "Mr. Jackson has had a little medical problem and I ordered him here. I would have done the same if any of you were ill, and I would have ordered you here. I do not want this to effect your opinions (or some word like that) either way. Now let's proceed..."
