If this restructuring succeeds, it will be a first. Hardly anything the legislature has done with public education in a half century has made any real difference at the classroom level. The fact that all the Democrats opposed the plan may or may not mean anything.

And Mr. Gallego, it is CRIMINALLY wrong to STEAL from one group of people so you can give the stolen goods to another group of people, regardless of how entertainment culture has romanticized Robin Hood over the years.
