I spent several years working with inmates at Maryland State Penitentiary, working with the Jaycees and the Seven Steps Foundation. I can vouch for the fact that there is a strict hierarchy in prisons among the inmates. "Lifers," usually convicted murders, are at the top of the pecking order. At the very bottom of that are the "baby rapers."
This piece of human scum may get a sentence of only 28 years in jail. But he will probably receive a death sentence, in fact and in the population. Rough justice will probably occur.
