There are many people who would do a geat job, but don't have what it takes to raise millions of dollars to run campaigns these days. It is a damn shame that only the wealthy & those who are able to get money from the wealthy are able to run....it ensures that only the corrupt will get elected.
Or, it ensures that a person who can be influential in the business community rises to the top.
