Authorities do not know why it malfunctioned. "But about five minutes into the 14 minute flight -- 18 miles up -- a motor failed, causing the rocket to come spiraling down."
Sounds to me like that's the malfunction.
To: Chena
I think it was shot down by the Borealis.
The government of Boreal has yet to apologize however.

I worked for 3 years at Poker Flats, and we had a few failures. Not a big deal.

"Lynch estimated the rocket and instrumentation aboard it were worth between $1 million and $5 million."
Somewhere between $1 mil and $5 mil? Seems like a rather broad estimate. Did someone lose the receipt or something?

Did someone lose the receipt or something? Hey, what's a few million when it comes to rocket science?

"Hey, what's a few million when it comes to rocket science?"
It's a few million lying across the frozen tundra of Alaska. I bet the wild animals were up all night staring at the sky waiting for the next attack. The lights were out last night...dancing beautifully. What a shame the rocket didn't get to enjoy the show.

Who cares about the money, did the rocket come down and kill one of our friends on the forest floor. We need a congressional investigation NOW, write or e-mail your congressperson immediatly.
