No leader is perfect, so the appearance of cheerleading doesn't do Rush's credibility much good.
I can understand him towing the party line 15 years ago when he was acting as the sole counterpoint to MSM, but there's no need for him to do it now. He would serve his audience better if he allowed his conscience to direct his commentary - he's got good instincts.
