Hear Rush's comments here (Windows media file):

This was taken directly from Rush's website:

(Scroll down to "From Rush's stack of stuff" which includes the original news story being discussed.)
Ditto. No leader is perfect, so the appearance of cheerleading doesn't do Rush's credibility much good.
I can understand him towing the party line 15 years ago when he was acting as the sole counterpoint to MSM, but there's no need for him to do it now. He would serve his audience better if he allowed his conscience to direct his commentary - he's got good instincts.
Did you ever doubt that Rush was on our side, my friend?
;)
An aside: Rush, please put the watermarks back on the audio excerpts. Also, make them available for download, as I would love to have them for my computer sound effects (in place of the little error dings)!
Just record them, and then put them on your computer.
Unless that is illegal.
God bless Rush Limbaugh BTTT
...I liked his quick-dispensing of Hitlery...heheheheheeee
If he is giving the MM the benefit of any doubt that could help thwart possible thoughts by any in government to Davidianize the MM. The MSM will of course trot with Fox.
>>>
You are very wise my friend...
Rush realizes that we're at war, in a nutshell...he knows what's going on.
Great job and thanks~!
No doubt that Rush is very against illegal immigration thexe days. If he posted it often enough at FR he would be banned. Due to the harsh tone and phraseology he used today on his show. Rush Limbaugh left no doubts how he feels.
IMHO Rush is a man of contradictions. He has fine instincts about US sovereignly but I've heard him defend NAFTA many times. I was a big booster of Ross Perot in 1992 and when he took on Alg0re on NAFTA. Perot won that TV debate in my opinion.
Dennisw- Against chump trade deals and illegal immigration since Feb-March 1992 when I worked for Pat Buchanan in the New Hampshire primaries. I bumped into Justin Raimundo at the call center a few times.
"Yes, elements of the MSM will try to falsely depict the Minute Men as 'vigilantes' etc etc,"
The MSM is only reporting what the BORDER PATROL has told them!! Perhaps you missed the article a week or so ago after BP held their press conference blasting the Minuteman Project.
bttt
The spokesperson did. Individual border guards are different. It's like union officials pretending they speak for everyone in unions.
I'm sure Rush does know what's going on. That's really not the point, however. The point is that many times his listeners DON'T know what's going on and look to him for information. His blanket endorsement (virtual, not 100% --- okay, 99%!) of EVERYTHING that President Bush does can only be classified as biased. Nobody is perfect, not even President Bush. ;)
BTTT
That may be true. But individual guards' opinions don't matter much since they aren't the ones calling the shots.
It was an effective tactic with a chillig effect. Most people are now convinced that the Minutemen are "trigger-happy Mexican hunters," and the point of the mission (to monitor BP response times) got lost. USBP SUCKS.
No, they don't "suck". There are many fine BP agents, who do the job the best they can.
I couldn't believe it. Rush said the GOP will win in 2008 no matter who they run, so long as they address illegal immigration and the problem with the courts. I can't recall hearing him talk about this topic like that before.
