Abu Musab al Zarqawi, the head of al Qaeda terrorism in Iraq, is an inspiration for Islamic radicals. Zarqawi, unfortunately, is carrying out his terrorist attacks mainly against fellow Moslems. This is not unusual, as, so far, most al Qaeda attacks have been against other Moslems. But for Arabs, living in Arab countries, the al Qaeda carnage in Iraq is scary, and disturbing. But for Moslems living in Europe, North America and other non-Moslem nations, the death of so many Moslems, at the hands of other Moslems, is inspiring. Especially with the young Moslems in places like Europe, it’s easy to swallow the official al Qaeda line that the Iraqis killed by al Qaeda bombs deserved to die. Moslems in Moslem countries know better. This generation gap is being exploited by al Qaeda, and has made Zarqawi a hero to many of these European born Moslems.
You’ll even find this Zarqawi hero worship in the United States, but with a difference. While America has a tradition of assimilation, such is not the case in Europe. There, the immigrants are encouraged to hang onto the culture and customs of the old country. This makes it easier for terrorists to operate. Fewer people will turn them in, and recruiting prospects are better. In the United States, there’s too much danger that someone in the community will call the FBI or police. Even before September 11, 2001, this was the case. And since late 2001, the American Moslem community is even more dangerous for Islamic radicals and terrorists. This, and recent reports that bin Laden is urging Zarqawi to make attacks in the United States, makes European counter-terrorism people very upset. They know that any serious Islamic terrorist efforts are more likely to happen in Europe. It’s that old “how do you deal with the danger of grizzly bears when you go hiking? Always go with someone you can outrun” routine. Islamic terrorists know that three years of efforts to carry out more attacks in America have only filled the jails with Islamic radicals. The only hope the terrorists have is that the American counter-terrorism people will get lax and lazy, as they did in 2001.

With Europe, what are they going to counter them with, france's tough fighting machine? Brussel's killing army? Yeah, ok.

If Europe had the cojones to actually stand up to the muslimes, those retrograde excuses for camel crap would be looking for a target that was somewhat softer to hit...as it is, not many targets are softer than anyplace in Europe, so why shouldn't Zarqawi and his happy little band of evolution's rejects make Europe a target?
And considering all the "help" we got from France, Belgium, Germany and Russia in taking down Saddam, all I can add is this:

Oh, they will. They'll remember their Viking, Vandal, Goth, Vlad-The-Impaler blood at some point. If they wait too long, though, it'll be the biggest bloodbath in human history.
I don't think they will. Too much Neville Chamberlain running through Europe's veins. They would rather blame Bush for every ill in the know galaxy, than face what's heading at them at a full gallop. By the time they realize it isn't his fault.....it will be too late. They will cut off their noses to spite their face.
Europeans go to extremes. Either cringing political correctness or skinheads with hobnail boots.
And American Muslims will not side with jihadis because they know they will catch hell if there is another terrorist incident. They know they are being watched.
And besides, aren't most Arab Americans Christian and most Muslim Americans black ?
Why not? It's Bush who's making them eat crow!

One of the terrorists main aim was to drive a wedge between the US and the EU... They can consider some success...
As long they can make the EU belive that the main target is the US they hoping to have more chancs to eliminate the US presence from the Middle East...
Also in Europe there are a large number of muslims who prefer the "mild" version of the Koran and enjoy the 'civilised' world's blessings and they easily outnumber the fanatics...
That is true, Europe is not fighting back.
The fight will be between those who escaped the hardline arab world and those who want it import the fundamentalism to the EU...
The Europeans have couple of decades experience in terrorism in various forms of extreme left to extreme right, and some religions in between...
The brits learned in Ireland that force alone wont help...

Sadly, that is a reoccuring theme in European history.
Europeans actually find a good fart to be pleasurable, us too for that matter. They only blame Bush when their fart turns out unexpectedly to be more than a fart.
Maybe, in time, they'll fight back. But it will be too little, too late. Meanwhile, Italy hands over a ransom payment of $10 mill, a little walking around money for Islamofascist terrorists in Iraq. Let us hope they spend all that dough on blowing up Italians. No, I don't really mean that, but if one US soldier dies as a result of this outrageous payment, Italy should hang its head in shame.
Europe endured Napoleon who killed off most of the French Army in his vainglorious quest for power and immortality.
Then WWI and WWII killed off huge numbers of young men with warrior blood in their veins.
These two disasterous centuries of warfare in Europe are the reason the men their are weak sisters. A lot of the good men died and didn't procreate.
