I figure I'd post this so that the DUmmies can find this article and post it on their lame-ass website.

I think if the right were going to assassinate Hunter Thompson, they would have done so, when he was relevant.

Boy those vast right wing conspiracists sure are a powerful bunch! What with them employing Hunter's son and wife in the plot!

He was "...working on a book regarding the Sept. 11 attacks being a controlled demolition strategically placed explosives. He claimed 'hard evidence' gathered proves the buildings were not brought down by planes..." Oh Brother. Let me guess? He would have alleged the plot was conceived by either the Illuminati, the CFR, or by the Elders of Zion, and that Bush had a direct hand. Sounds like ol' Hunter did the right thing after all.

I think if the right were going to assassinate Hunter Thompson, they would have done so, when he was relevant.but you are forgetting that Hunter was about to break open a big story that was going to topple the BFEE (BushFamilyEvilEmpire) and lead to the impeachment of GW Bush*

Let me apologize on behalf of the State of Oklahoma. Most people in OK do not believe this kind of stuff....but our 2 major universities have some left-wingers...like most do...that spout this stuff... Once the kids grow up they usually become conservative like their parents.

Yeah, sure, HST was "suicided" in a house filled with relatives and while on the phone with his wife, who could hear the shot.
It's completely stunning that, rather than recognize the reality that the President's War on Terror is succeeding, the Left prefers to run to the "refuge" of wacko conspiracy theories. They're almost gleefully marginalizing themselves.

Yeah, MoDo and Morford are next.... Considering how those two are trembling their lids, that could happen.

I thought Hunter Thompson's wife said he had been discussing suicide and they had been arguing over it. These people need to loosen that tin foil a little. Not enough oxygen getting to the head.
To: rface
We said that the media has a liberal bias, not that they're complete whack-jobs.

Margie Shoedinger, had a court case pending that claims both she and her husband were raped by George W. Bush while she was dating Bush in the 1970s. Shoedinger's lawsuit was halted when she was found dead, apparently of a self-inflicted bullet wound. Here is a little bit about Mrs. Shoedinger.
