Is it just me, or do we seem to be having a rash of earthquakes recently?

You posted a 5.3 earthquake, come on!
There are about 800 quakes between 5.0 and 5.9 every year.
Don't post them all!

It seems as though there is a rash of earthquakes of 5.O & above striking from the Pacific Ring of Fire, to the Gaspé over on the coast of Oregon.
Between Taipei & Tokyo-Yokohama I am wondering which mega-metropolis will be severely effected next?
With events in Lebanon, Syria and Iran really accelerating, maybe there will also be a powerful wake up call in that general region as well.

For what it's worth, it seems that way to me, too.
Maybe I'm just paying more attention these days since the tsunami, but it sure seems like every time I turn around there's another report of an earthquake in some part of the world. And not just tremors, either, but fairly good sized ones.

"Is it just me, or do we seem to be having a rash of earthquakes recently?"No it isn't you. We're having rashes of earthquakes and lots of meteors are targeted at earth, and articles about Ray Charles being put on the $10 bill, and how Joe Lieberman is a Conservative.
It seems like a normal Monday, but there is something in the wind.
