I invite you to do the same for the authors of the CDC studies. Additionally, I'll throw in the authors of the various laws restricting smoking in various places. As my authorities are more numerous and older in terms of impact, you go first. After you have results, then I'll have a go at your challenge.

You don't understand. I have been working with this issue for 15 years. My sources and links I provide are my absolute. I have complete faith in them, or else I wouldn't put them out there for everyone to read.

Regardless of your sources and your "complete faith" in them, I found them unconvincing. Consequently, in debating terms our situation is one of "dueling sources." As my sources have convinced the majority of the lawmakers and the majority of the public, to date, you must do better than assert your "complete faith," to make your point valid.

As I noted in an earlier post, it is perfectly permissible to petition our legislative bodies for tort reform. (I might add that I am very much in favor of such.) However, one major difference between "fat people" and smokers, is that "fat people" do not routinely impose any possibility of ill health or disagreeable environment upon those around them.

Smokers will be left alone entirely as long as they do not insist upon forcibly imposing any of the effects of their indulgence upon those who do wish it.
