The Scotland event was about a 3.2, around two weeks ago.
So, lately we've had:
an event in Scotland
a 9.2, possibly the second greatest quake ever recorded
events in the NE American sector. True, not unusual by itself, but possibly significant if taken as a whole
the increase in activity at Mt. St. Helens. I know very well about this, because around last March there was a chain of events. Almost weekly, there were 2-3 earthquakes directly beneath the summit at a depth of about 1.8 kilometers.
enough of an increase off the Washington coast for the scientists to send out an explorer ship... but they must be idiots, they're obviously not as smart as U no hoo..
Two devastating earthquakes in Iran
A moderate increase in activity in Siberia
A quake almost directly on the North pole. I think this area is right in the middle of a plate.
But we're all idiots for paying attention to it and asking questions, meanwhile, others who paid attention to it and asked questions and went to school know way more than we do..
Someone should tell them there's a difference. Statistical methods don't work when you are talking something that really follows chaos theory.
Keep me on the ping list, and I will also!

Also there has been another quake near the Pole - that's 3 in less than 24 hours, same spot all at 6.2 miles depth.
