The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON - Prompted by new intelligence indicating Osama bin Laden reached out to the most feared terrorist in Iraq, President Bush charged Thursday that "al-Qaida still hopes to attack us on our own soil."

"Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

The president vowed, "We're working every day and night to dismantle (bin Laden's) network and to bring him to justice."

Positive Initial Detection for Anthrax at Pentagon

WASHINGTON, March 14, 2005 – Defense Department officials confirmed that a positive test for the presence of anthrax bacteria during routine mail operations today led to the evacuation of a Pentagon outbuilding. However, officials stressed, subsequent tests have been negative.

The Pentagon issued a statement saying the department is taking precautionary measures while conducting further testing of the Remote Delivery Facility, where the Pentagon’s mail is delivered.

Hi JP,

Man am I glad I filled up the car's gas tank this morning. I was at 3/8 of a tank and was not going to worry about it, but this irritating little voice in my head kept saying,

Dude, fill the tank.

I got tired of listening the voice so I filled the tank.

Yes, I do listen to the voices....but only the ones that tell me to do GOOD things.

LOL!!! That is one of the top 10 excuses for taking the day off. You call your supervisor or manager and tell him or her, "Hi _______. The voices told me to stay home and clean the guns so I won't be in to work today."

I lose more jobs that way.....LOL!
