Lots of CAPS, but the general idea that I'm taking away from you post - don't go to the carwash.
LOL
That's my car you hear screaming... "NOOOOOOOOOO..."
Having missed last nights downpour in San Diego thought an alert might be in order.
Sorry onyx!!!
The caps are the Weather Service's fault...that's the way official warnings are usually posted.
But why this is being posted is another story....except maybe to say, Heads up, Southern California! Bad weather coming in!
The doppler shows the storm cells moving from the northeast.
That's just not right.
sorry, i can't see much on the radar.
This is the storm that won't go away!
I broke down and washed mine Thursday evening. It was supposed to rain that night and did. My car was peeking in the window all night saying, thank you, thank you, thank you...
Guilt is a wonderful motivator of last resort. Heh heh!
Light rain in L.A. last night and a few sprinkles today. Last Thursday, enjoyed a nice sail out of the marina on calm seas. My skipper says the Pacific is mis-named; it can get rough out there. If it looks good, I'll go whale-watching tomorrow or next weekend.
Take care down south....
Sofar seems to be mostly inland.
I need to do some errants, check the beach and get a haircut, be back later.
it's gone!
that is an Inside Slider!
Thanks for the update. But what are we going to do when the weather goes back to the boring always perfect Southern Cal weather.
Nice treat this rain - for those of us in the desert and on high ground. And even though it is a bit cold getting down to 54 degrees at night, all I need to do to warm up is do a search of the temps back east (brrrrrrrrr!).
Let it rain, just don't let it snow anywhere below 5,000 feet!
