I wish Britain would stop and smell the roses. We are well into a full flowering of English civilization without all the headaches of empire governance. English is becoming the lingua franca of the world, and even the EU. There is no reason for Britain to kiss up[ to the French and Germans. Get some civic pride and make some babies.
