This may be in response to the killings with that Chicago Judges family. I remember this type of hysteria after McVeigh got blamed for OKC. The Feds really cracked down on militia's and white supremacist groups.

I recall a similiar event a large number of years ago.
Some perp killed a Federal Judge in Texas.

Now that will totally and completely Pi$$ off the Feds.

I've met a few myself. Mostly American Splendor rejects who live at home with their parents and sit around with their buddies smoking pot talking about how the Jews/Niggers/Mexicans/Pakistanis are "keeping the white man down."

I grew up in South Texas. It was a well known fact that it was not a good idea to shoot a cop, especially a State Trooper. Suspect had a nasty habit of being killed while resisting arrest. Had some punk shoot a Trooper outside my hometown back in the early 90s. Ron Howard I think it was. Perp was at least smart enough to head for a public place before being apprehended. He's sittin' tight on death row now.

The few white supremacists I have met over the years were pretty stupid individuals. These boys seem to be running true to form. To be a white supremacist involves a certain ignorance of history and the world at large. This country has had to suffer from hate mongers from all the races and it is a pity. I agree with the other comments, on this thread, that attacking police officers in Texas would qualify these dimwits for the Darwin awards.

Lots of time I will be found sitting out on the patio sipping on a glass iced tea.
Watch a local cop pass by and he will wave to me, and I will wave back.
Sometimes he might even stop and will pour him a glass and we will talk.
All very friendly and cordial, but we both understand that while he is watching my six I am watching his.
