"Ping" for the Norway ping list.

I am going to have to do something about this list; I have to type in all the names, rather than "copying and pasting," because on this computer, Microsoft Word does not get along with Explorer; in fact, Microsoft Word loathes and detests Explorer, fights, resists, Explorer.

And this is not an old computer.

The deal is, I need Microsoft Word something more than I need Explorer (and internet access), because I spend quite a bit of time writing (non-fiction humor).

In fact, today a new story comes out (not accessible by internet, though, for copyright reasons beyond my control), about the time I hired a Greek plumber to yank out my four wisdom teeth--and so I really really really really really like Microsoft Word, even when it balks at Explorer.

Are you saving the list of names in a Word doc? try saving it in a plain text doc using Notepad - that may make cutting and pasting more successful. This is all, of course, given that I understand the problem to begin with.......

ping list/Word problems -- Just do a Google for Metapad.exe -- it is a GREAT free utility for Windows PCs, 20x better than the stock Notepad. The Options let you keep up to 16 recent docs instantly at hand....

antiVirus updated before download or first use, of course....

Download one of the freeware "clipboard" programs..
some of them are able to hold very large files..
Wordpad is good, it is a larger version of Windows Notepad..
My favorite clipboard proggie is called "Yankee Clipper"..
