Perhaps Moe resented being sent off after 30 years and told his pals, " That's the SOB, get 'im".
Read the story. Moe, their chimp, was not involved...
I know, I always find monkeys funny - no matter what hijinks they're up to.
"They will rip your reproductive organs off,"
"Is this chimp behaviour, or primates in general ???"
Up to and including human females if you forget their birthdays...(ouch!)
I just saw an incredible video on Spike TV's Most Amazing Videos. A plain orange tabby cat absolutely tore up a big burly policeman. They tried to catch it with a noose, tried to put it in a carrier, finally the cat attached all twenty claws to the poor man's leg and attached his teeth to the poor man's...well, you get the picture.
I believe it. One of my kids worked in a vets boarding facility and told me they put purple stickers on the cages of the vicious cats. There was one that had a triple purple and absolutely couldn't be handled.
that was it, I just reclaimed it!
Americans are scared of what they cannot control.
D*mned ankle-biters!
I wonder if their were any children watching saying "mommy look at the funny monkeys playing with that I guy, can I play with the monkeys?"
I'll bet that it was a while before your "friends" stopped laughing and kidding you about it! But it wasn't the last of them. There was a trained black bear (muzzled and claws trimmed very short)Bck in the early '80s im Memphis who would "wrestle" anyone with a promise of a big payoff if you could just manage to not get pinned. I saw a couple of burly Marines last about 15 seconds each as the bear went low and swept their feet out from under than and down they would go.
Yeah that's a deal-breaker!
Southerners are tough. Even Southerner chimps.
