I can hardly believe it. I was excited about Ukraine, but astonished at Lebanon. I am so excited for the possibilities for freedom in the Middle East, but we have to strike while the iron is hot and help these countries as the opportunities are now and will probably never raise their heads again if they don't happen now.

My wife's comment:
Dan Schnorrer thinks Bush is right? That's a bad sign! If Dan likes it, we might be doing something wrong.
For myself, I expect to see ice sculptures in Hades now. One of the psycho-Dans thinks we MIGHT possibly not be entirely wrong. Anything is possible now!

Schorr's occasional ability to glimpse actual reality is, for him, more a sign of senility rather than honesty.
Did he get through an entire NPR piece without mentioning that he was on Nixon's Enemies List? That would be a first.

Ah ...
The Daniel Schorr.
Here's a guy with over 60 years of of running around carrying the Left's water, dodging crazy Joseph McCarthy, tricky Dick Nixon, and knowing his place around the adored Leftist stars, Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather.
Now that he is hearing someone, or something calling him from the great beyond, he too is looking for peace.
Seems that cozying up with Ted Turner for CNN just didn't get him the "free ride" ticket.

The journalistic equivalent of passing a kidney stone.
Schorr is really losing it.

I read a transcript from the Jon Stewert show posted on a FR yesterday. Stewert had some ex Clinton aide who was stating how terrible the Iraq elections and Lebanon were to the democrats.
Stewert commiserated that it looks like Bush was right, his methods were wrong, but he was right. He then went on to say that he feared Bush would go down as one of the greats.
Pretty telling interview showing dems admitting they cheer bad news and fear good news.

What have I got to do to make Republicans love me
What have I got to do to make them care
What do I do when Bush lightning strikes me
And I wake to find dictators not there
What do I do to make them want me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I say when my liberal buddies say it's all over
And sorry from a liberal seems to be the hardest word
It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation
And it's getting more and more absurd
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over
Oh it seems to me
That sorry from a liberal seems to be the hardest word
What do I do to make Republicans love me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I do when Bush lightning strikes me
What have I got to do
What have I got to do
When sorry from a liberal seems to be the hardest word
He He He ....... Stupid liberals eating their hats! Gotta love it!
