I have to take an exam in the morning.

My son works in the IT division of a large oil corporation in the Bay Area. He also has to attend "Diversity Training". As a very opinionated Libertarian he is way out-numbered by the loonie left, and he isn't inclined to keep his opinions to himself. I've told him he should just go and sit through it and try to keep his mouth shut. It's a wonder he still has his job there.
Thank you, LUV W, for your message and prayers for Brian. This has to have been a difficult day for KET. I know our messages of support mean a lot to her.
LOL, just posted to you on Amy's poetry thread. I also work in the IT division. I am not looking forward to going, I am not sure how 'quiet' I will be. What did your son say about the class? Have to turn in, but would love to hear about your son's experience.

I can't repeat what he actually said, LOL. Seriously, he didn't really say what all it involved, just that sitting through these classes and having to keep his mouth shut was about all he could do.

Awwwwwww! What little cuties!....and KET did it herself! I am amazed, too. I wouldn't have a clue.
Nor would I. I am afraid I would be in a complete state of panic as soon as I realized there was problem. Guess I wouldn't make a good veterinarian. LOL
Look at those Adorable little things! They are so cute! And I, too, Admire you, KET, for your Abilities in Delivering them!

Today's text states that God causes the cypress tree and the myrtle tree to flourish where once thorns and briers encumbered the ground. This analogy reminds us that God can bring forth beauty and grace where evil once flourished.
Where cynicism once grew, hope and optimism can begin to emerge. Where sarcasm thrived, gentle words of healing can appear. Where lust grew rampant and unrestrained, pure love can spring up. This-a transformed life-is the living and lasting sign of God's work, the memorial He seeks (Isaiah 55:13).
Do you long for this kind of transformation in your life? Then "seek the Lord while He may be found" (v.6). There are moments when we grow tired of the evil within us, and our heart aches for holiness. This is God calling, reminding us that He is near. At such times we must sink our roots deep into God's Word and ask Him to conform us to His likeness. He says that "as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and . . . water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, . . . so shall [His] word be that goes forth from [His] mouth" (vv.10-11).

Thanks you guy's. I had never done anything like that before either. It's amazing what you can do when you have to. Had I not been there, I would have lost them all.

LOL. Did you see Dolly's comment about the kids not favoring you? You'll have to tell J that they favor him. Hehehehe. Gotta go return those movies. That's what I hate about renting movies. It's never convenient to return them.
BTW, you should keep this thread and send it to Brian when he gets an e-mail address. Or, you could print it out and mail it.
