WASHINGTON Mar 3, 2005 Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld has been ill for several days but has kept a regular, though reduced, work schedule mostly out of public view, his spokesman said Thursday.
"He picked up this bug that's going around," Lawrence Di Rita told reporters when asked about Rumsfeld's condition. "He's been in every day He's tried to limit his contact with people a little bit because he's been sick."

I have friends in Wisconsin who are sick like that, too. How weird!
He has so many admirers here, we should send him a FRiendly Get-Well thread....
If I hear "Righteous Man" on the radio I'm gonna start worrying...
That must be one nasty bug as it has reached lower Alabama as well. A couple weeks ago I had seven men (half my production staff) out with this flu on a Monday, six on Tuesday, and five for the next two weeks. One local bank stopped servicing construction loans as there were only two employees well enough to come to work.

Mr Ditter and I must have had something else cause ours never went away and came back. Just two weeks of headcold, sinus infection bronchitis, (cough sneeze cough wheeze ache cough) we are better now but it was bad.
Yes, exactly. He does stand all the time when he is working. Makes sense too that he is able to move around and keep the blood flowing and the joints moving...keeps everyone on their toes around him as well. I just LOVE that black desk he is working on too. He's a great man and history will tell the truth about Pres Bush and his entire administration including this great man...Rummy. :)
