Glad I read this. Jon Stewart was subtle, but he nailed this lady. And he got her on air hoping for failure and death for America, just like Ellen Ratner on Fox, "hoping" that enough Americans would die, that President Bush would be defeated.
Yes, I think Jon Stewart "gets it." He may be late to the party, but he has arrived.

Stewart: Do you think they're the guys to--do they understand what they've unleashed? Because at a certain point, I almost feel like, if they had just come out at the very beginning and said, "Here's my plan: I'm going to invade Iraq. We'll get rid of a bad guy because that will drain the swamp"--That has indeed been the message from the very start. It got drowned out by the enemies of our country dems/media.
The Bush Doctrine
June 2002
excerpt:
Here is the crux of Mr. Bushs liberty doctrine: Our nations cause has always been larger than our nations defense. We fight, as always, for a just peacea peace that favors human liberty. We will defend the peace against threats from terrorists and tyrants. We will preserve the peace by building good relations among the great powers. And we will extend the peace by encouraging free and open societies on every continent.

The truth will always out no matter the efforts to silence it.
