I just love a good "Do as I say, not as I do" story.

Police reportedly found the gun and illegal drugs while executing a search warrant at Stevens' home in connection with a spate of drive-by shootings in the area. Let's see, her first son was killed by a firearm and now her home is searched in connection with drive by shootings. I'm only guessing here, but it sounds like her children are a little out of control. Maybe she needs to look to her parenting skills as the problem, instead of guns.

Stoned, armed, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

She told a newspaper the gun belonged to her late son, and when she found it, she didn't know what to do with it, so she put it in a drawer.Sure she didn't! No one in her position would ever be able to figure out that the gun needed to be taken to the police. Or that she could contact a lawyer from her own organization for advice on how to deal w/ the situation "quietly" (assuming, koff, koff, that what she says about the gun's origin is true). Nope, nope nope... just wouldn't happen.

Ya see. We need gun laws so stuff like this doesn't happen. If gun laws were stricter she wouldn't have been able to obtain an illegal gun. In addition , she wouldn't even need a gun if it was illegal for others to own. Its all the fault of NRA members.

Guy I knew was dead set against concealed carry in Texas. He worked at the same station with me. Kept a .45 under the seat of his truck. Saw absolutely no contradiction in his positions.

"The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) called it a classic case of "liberal elitists" who "cannot walk their own talk." That sums it up in a nutshell for me.

Wow! Her having a firearm is amazing however her having an illegal firearm is priceless! Too bad that none of the on-line articles had a picture of her or of her arrest. Welcome to the criminal justice system lady. You truly earned it.

Ain't it great! My new boss proudly told me how she got a wild hair and drove to DC to join the MMM a few years ago. I wonder how she'd react to this story.

Sounds like we know how her son got killed now.
