Bedford County may never get the chance to prosecute a United Arab Emirates diplomat charged with Internet crimes after his country allowed him to leave the United States this weekend, officials said.
Salem Al-Mazrooei, who is charged with five counts of electronic solicitation of a minor and one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor, had his assignment terminated by the United Arab Emirates and left this country with his family sometime over the weekend, said officials with Bedford County and the U.S. State Department.
"While I don't believe for one moment that his government condoned what he did ... we were disappointed to say the least," said Bedford County Commonwealth's Attorney Randy Krantz. "That's not quite a strong enough term."

While I'm glad there's one less Muslim in America, I kind of wish this one had hung around long enough to serve a prison sentence.
I have lived in the UAE for eight years
Believe me. This guys life is not going to be pleasant
Yeh, guess that was Ashcanistan where that kinda stuff is still in good standing?
I really have no idea what that post is meant to mean.

what is the Muslim punishment for this kind of thing?
Actually, anything you do in infidel land is considered OK.
I'm glad this guy didn't commit these acts in my jurisdiction, but I wouldn't mind having the chance to prosecute him. And I agree with my fellow CWA: I'd be disappointed, too.
