Just trying to get straight here, ya know?
I suspect that you'll soon be the target of lightning.
I got a hangnail! I stubbed my toe! I'm suing Donald Rumsfield because it happened under his watch!!! Waaaah!!!!
There's more to this than hangnails and stubbed toes. Try here (WARNING: graphic photos).
Of course I think it's silly to sue Rummy. But there's no need to make light of the torture itself; it made Rummy so heartsick that he repeatedly offered to resign over it.
The U.S. military was investigating this stuff before the story ever broke (soldiers reported it). It's not representative of our military and it's against our laws. In Reckless Disregard, Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson referred to the people who did it as 'idiots', and I don't think that term is strong enough.
Me too. Here's some more Rummy quotes: http://www.rightwingnews.com/quotes/rummyquotes.php
Could ACLU have just set itself up to be a baby seal looking up at a Canadian Club, knowing the WHOMP is coming - and there's nothing they can do about it?

For Rummy fans.
Another know-nothing about corporate management procedures checks in to display both his ignorance and his bigotry. Non-executive directors are just that, people who attend once-a-year meetings at which they vote on retaining the CEO, the auditors and similar matters.
They are so tiresome.

Thanks..That is the one one usually post..I am on a borrowed computer and lost without my bookmarks.
"The guy just admitted to engaging in vexatious litigation."
Yes he did - and I believe that's why Bill was so upset with him (Bill being a lawyer himself).
In the 7 years I worked for very prestigious lawfirms in downtown San Diego - they never took a case to court unless they were confident they would win. I can remember working on several cases where our lawyers advised the client to settle - because if they tried to take it to court they were sure to lose far more.
ACLU - I believe - takes issues to court just to make a point and I also believe that they do not expect to prevail. The fact that they do tells me there are a lot of people intimidated by this group - and it's got to stop.
