Mexico City, Mexico, Mar. 1 (UPI) -- With the peak season for illegal border crossings looming in the next few months, both Mexico and the United States are gearing up for thousands of inevitable confrontations between Mexicans who will attempt the treacherous journey through the Arizona desert and the American border patrol and immigration authorities on the other side.

How perfect. You'd be an expert on "delusion", for sure. I find it interesting that you have to ping your little sissy friends for help. "RING RING! Calling all irrational, shrill, insubstantial girlie-men!!! I am getting my brains beat out

...and need help because I lack substance and can't come up with anything but one liner ad hominems" Waaaaa! Waaaa!

What is humorous is that s/he thinks that bunch will do any better. Among those DU cheerleaders, I wonder who is hiding behind WHOSE skirt today? Line up girls.

THIS is your idea of substance? Looking for typo's in lieu of answering a question. I'm impressed. Why do people like you even come to a forum if you're not capable of contributing anything but mindless spew? .....

"Instant Amnesty" for criminals will solve the immigration problem? Wow! You've been smoking some of that product those "peaceful agrarians" are smuggling. Either that or been out in the heat too long by those waterholes. All his proposals did is make the numbers go up 30%. IS that your idea of a "solution"? It doesn't take "conjones" to throw your hands in the air and say "I surrender!" It DOES take testicular fortitude to say "no more" but you wouldn't know about that kind of stuff, would you? Viva la france, huh?

Yet some ideologies and mindsets are more prone to attract and destabilize already unstable people. No one questioned or ridiculed his initial tinfoil hat assertions where he originally posted them. They end up feeding off each other's irrational fears and hatreds, and this is the result we see.

Before this thread goes down in flames, I need to ask you all a question. While posting comments during the Jihad's rants, Wind Oracle and I had the words "Loose Lips Sink Ships" flash on our monitors. Is this a warning shot across our bow? If you know, please let me know.

Gee, another one-liner/ad hominem combo. How UNUSUAL! That must've taken you at least ½ an hour of brain smoke, huh? I am SOOOOO amazed at your depth of thought. At least I get a goood laugh at those from the shallow end of the gene pool

Gen. Franks Doubts Constitution Will Survive WMD Attack

John O. Edwards, NewsMax.com Friday, Nov. 21, 2003

Gen. Tommy Franks says that if the United States is hit with a weapon of mass destruction that inflicts large casualties, the Constitution will likely be discarded in favor of a military form of government.

Franks, who successfully led the U.S. military operation to liberate Iraq, expressed his worries in an extensive interview he gave to the men’s lifestyle magazine Cigar Aficionado.

In the magazine’s December edition, the former commander of the military’s Central Command warned that if terrorists succeeded in using a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) against the U.S. or one of our allies, it would likely have catastrophic consequences for our cherished republican form of government.

Discussing the hypothetical dangers posed to the U.S. in the wake of Sept. 11, Franks said that “the worst thing that could happen” is if terrorists acquire and then use a biological, chemical or nuclear weapon that inflicts heavy casualties.

If that happens, Franks said, “... the Western world, the free world, loses what it cherishes most, and that is freedom and liberty we’ve seen for a couple of hundred years in this grand experiment that we call democracy.”

Franks then offered “in a practical sense” what he thinks would happen in the aftermath of such an attack.

“It means the potential of a weapon of mass destruction and a terrorist, massive, casualty-producing event somewhere in the Western world – it may be in the United States of America – that causes our population to question our own Constitution and to begin to militarize our country in order to avoid a repeat of another mass, casualty-producing event. Which in fact, then begins to unravel the fabric of our Constitution. Two steps, very, very important.”

Franks didn’t speculate about how soon such an event might take place.

Already, critics of the U.S. Patriot Act, rushed through Congress in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, have argued that the law aims to curtail civil liberties and sets a dangerous precedent.

But Franks’ scenario goes much further. He is the first high-ranking official to openly speculate that the Constitution could be scrapped in favor of a military form of government.

The usually camera-shy Franks retired from U.S. Central Command, known in Pentagon lingo as CentCom, in August 2003, after serving nearly four decades in the Army.

Franks earned three Purple Hearts for combat wounds and three Bronze Stars for valor. Known as a “soldier’s general,” Franks made his mark as a top commander during the U.S.’s successful Operation Desert Storm, which liberated Kuwait in 1991. He was in charge of CentCom when Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda attacked the United States on Sept. 11. (truncated)

So tell me, IF EVERY ONE of the security agencies in the nation, and 70% plus of the citizens know what a hazard our southern border is and have so noted to eLpReSIdEnTe; if Tommy Franks endorsed eL pReSiDeNtE BOOSH (like....there was an ALTERNATIVE?) but gives us this caveat and I am fairly sure this this has been submitted to eLpReSiDeNtE somwhere along the line, eLpReSiDeNtE's intransigence is all just coincidence, huh?

Ok, explain in your one-line wisDUMB, the intellectual dichotomy

Of course I am just a conspiracy freak....(hehhhe)

O insubstantial ones, when are you going to learn? You can't counter facts and intellectual discussion with "neener neener" unless you're posting at DU. Either put up, or shut up.

Sorry, but I've seen plenty of irrationality and hatred on your side too.

I doubt many have even see what he said - or like me, barely scanned it. Best to leave it to the big guys, anyway.

Oh well, maybe he'll get lucky and it'll be pulled like some of yours I've seen. ; ) Perfect deniability.

I usually see that Loose Lips warning too, in red. In all threads. But it is missing now, and all I see is the no personal attacks, etc...thing.

I think they might be messing with the template. FR was down a little bit this evening.

Speaking for yourself, of course. It is evident in that you made it all the way to 3 lines this time. You must be hanging onto your sanity by your chewed-off fingernails

No one questioned or ridiculed his initial tinfoil hat assertions where he originally posted them.

Well overlooking this proffered 1/2 lie, in that it wasn't questioned, only ridiculed by the ridiculous crowd (of one...)you're apparently not CAPABLE of questioning nor rebutting same. The request was made that you rebut if you could. You failed dismally, going flat on your face again. All you did was to make snide and childish comments; another "nenner neener" in lieu of substance. Do you 4.3 DU'ers get together to write these masterpieces or just spin a pointer on an "insubstantial comments" board? Why don't you just sit and post "your MAMA!" to everything the rest of us post? It would show a similar level or intellectual capability and be just as efficacious at showing what you really are; i.e "trolls".
