What I wonder is how the ecofreaks will position themselves against this?
"Renewable" energy sources (solar, windpower, etc.) are ok as long as they're expensive and rare, because otherwise they are no good as a badge of eco-virtue, and we all know that cheap energy encourages the spread of (boo, hiss!) civilization.
