I still think 23 hours a day in lockdown while being being "Bubba's new girlfriend" is a lot more or a punishment then a quick needle and death and such a young age.

These kids are not kids but monsters who should be put out of their own misery.

This SCOTUS is one of the worst SCOTUS's their has been. Expect more insane rulings such as the ruling on eminent domain, and all other important issues to be ruled in favor of their Leftists agenda!

Has anyone been executed below the age of 18?...... I don't know.

In Texas the state that gets the most press about its executions the youngest person executed was 24 yrs old..... That 6 above the 18 mark..... The average time on Death row is 10.4 years....

What is the age at which you think someone should be elgible for the death penalty?...... 18, 25, 30, never?

Oh how nice. So you want the other inmates to torture them because you are too squeamish to give them the punishment that fits their crime and prevents them from being a further threat to society.

That is really sick.

Twenty-years of appeals is hardly a "quick needle." It's repulsive to think you or others depend on prison rape as further punishment for criminal acts.

I think it is reprehensible that this occurs, and not only to murderers, but to non-violent criminals in some cases.

For a culture that gets all bent out of shape over Abu Graib "torture" of enemies planning to kill our soldiers to make wisecracks about prison rape as an accepted occurence makes me sick.

Unless it's Bubba.

Oh, so it's okay to *torture* young offenders, but not kill them humanely? What you advocate sounds a lot more like "cruel and unusual" punishment than lethal injection does.

You don't know much about prison and don't think for a moment that predatorial killers sit in their cells lamenting their misdeeds.

They flourish in prison. It is their environment. The only thing they lament is getting caught.

It tickles me to death to see so many here always squawk that platitude about "lock them up and let them rot and think about what they have done for the rest of their life".

That is simply untrue. We will not let them rot (nor should we) and they don't think about it....and as for being a sex punk....they will be the predator soon enough.

The only thing I have ever seen most predators fear is certain death.

How do you know that the current jail "Bubba" wasn't also a 17 year-old who committed murder, and is now a 30 year-old "big man in prison"? "Bubbas" start from somewhere, and many of them started out as juvenile murderers.
