What's the scoop on these Pubbies? And how come Colorado comes through so nicely for Bush and so horribly down-ticket?? Anything you can share w the FReepWorld??

Norton's not running probably due to Governor Owen's unpopularity with Republicans. They saw him as a sure bet to retain Nighthorse Campbell's senate seat, but he passed on it to run for president in '08. However, under his watch, Republicans lost that senate seat, a open house seat, and control of both state houses to the Democrats.

Forget about Tancredo; he's not running with his visit to NH last month. It's pretty much a two-man race between Treasurer Mike Coffman and University of Denver president, Marc Holtzman, the latter having a ton of money.

Salazar won because Coors was a Republican In Name Only (rino)

He also ran a disgusting campaign in the primary from what i've heard.
