Computer-Collapse, Free Cell
Video-Turbo Grafx Alien Crush ( aged myself there)
Card-Rummy-( My son met Rumsfeld during his surprise visit!!)
Seriously, on the computer I play solitaire and sometimes but rare hearts. I can't get past pacman to play the more complex games. Too stupid, I guess.
No board games and no xbox or what's the other one? playstation.

Just in case anyone is into flight sims you might want to check out Strike Fighters: Project 1 and the related Wings Over Vietnam. Strike Fighters started out with many bugs and was released incomplete, but successive patches and many fantastic user-made addons make this game an absolute gem.
Card: Euchre (is there any other card game?)
Computer: It varies. I'm currently involved in a campaign in Talonsoft's Bombing the Reich. Prior to that I was playing a lot of Privateer's Bounty: Age of Sail II. Looking forward to the updated version of Rowan's Battle of Britain flight sim, and to Ubisoft's Silent Hunter III U-boat sim.
Top of the morning! I know it isn't daylight yet, but it is after midnight here on the east coast of the U.S. of A. LOL I've not been around since Friday and it seems more like a month. LOL You are so addictive!!!! I'm back and glad to be here. Hugs!
My favorite is the Tomb Raider series.
I know all the games. If anyone needs secrets, ask me.
SALUTE!

Today's FEEBLE
YOKE :
An old priest was dying. He sent a message for an IRS agent and his Lawyer to come to the Rectory. When they arrived, they were ushered up to his bedroom. As they entered the room, the priest held out his hands and motioned for them to sit on each side of the bed. The priest grasped their hands, sighed contentedly, smiled and stared at the ceiling. For a time, no one said anything. Both the IRS agent and Lawyer were touched and flattered that the old priest would ask them to be with him during his final moment.
They were also puzzled because the priest had never given any indication that he particularly liked either one of them.
Finally, the Lawyer asked, "Father, why did you ask the two of us to come?"
The old guy mustered up some strength, then said weakly, "Jesus died between two thieves, and that's how I want to go, too."

How grateful we are for the wonders of the world that God has created for us as our home in time. Though blighted with evil and pain, the earth is full of beautiful things that dazzle our senses. Early some midsummer morning, take a walk in a flower garden and absorb its beauty and fragrance. Then think about all of its lovelinessa faint glimpse of heaven's glory.
Years ago I stood outside a cabin high in the Rocky Mountains. As far as I could see, all the peaks were snow-covered and glistening under the light of a full moon. What an overwhelming spectacle that was! Yet still, just a glimpse of heaven's glory.
Listen to the thrilling cascade of harmony in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Then imagine the rapturous sound of angelic choirs.
Our Savior assured His disciples that He would return to His Father and His eternal home to prepare a place for those who simply believe. It will be a place of such splendor that nothing on earth can compare with it.
The only requirement for entry is personal faith in Christ and His atoning death and resurrection. Trust in His sacrifice, and one day He'll welcome you into that glorious beauty and joy. Vernon Grounds
Christ opens the door of heaven to those who open their heart to Him.
Good morning Everyone. Good morning to our
Military, our Allies and their families.
Thank you Canteen Slacker for doing today's thread. I can see you put in a lot of effort (for a slacker) and you deserve a pat on the back for it.
It snowed just about all day yesterday, but we didn't really get much accumulation.
Now, before I go on to say hello to as many people as I can before taking on the workload, I have only one thing to say...........
What the HE__ are we doing with over 450 posts at 0700?
Now remember, the Canteen is always
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's alway plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS.
