ping
"Nominated by William J. Clinton on May 11, 2000" My first reaction to this story was to google Joan Humphery and Clinton.
It says she's a graduate of Wheaton College.
That tends to suggest that she is an Evangelical with conservative religious beliefs, although one would need more evidence to nail it down. I know a few of the faculty at Wheaton and it's a fine place.
snort!!
...The jury found Hale, 32, had solicited his security chief, Anthony Evola, to kill Lefkow because she had ruled against his organization, the former World Church of the Creator, in a trademark infringement lawsuit. But the jurors acquitted Hale of charges alleging he solicited Jon Fox, a former member of the World Church, to kill Lefkow.
See # 5 - freeper got it before I could.
Thanks, he sounds like one nasty piece of work. Oh Lord, it sounds awful.

Lefkow presided over a trademark case against Matt Hale, a white supremacist later convicted of trying to have the judge killed. Hale remains behind bars.
Bump. This looks like a big one.
Well of course, but love triangles. Well maybe now that I htink about it. Remember Tarnower and Jean Harris.
Hale Bopped In a dramatic scene yesterday at Chicago's Federal Courthouse, World Church of the Creator founder and head scumbag white supremacist Matthew Hale was arrested on charges of plotting to kill judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow. Lefkow, for her part, had been presiding over the World Church's fight to keep its name. Hale was showing up at the courthouse on a related matter involving contempt charges and neither he nor his supporters were aware the authorities had become privy to his plan to assault and murder Lefkow. When he showed up with his leather-clad bully-boys, the Feds scooped him right up.
