Chicago - Bodies Found at Home of Federal Judge

CHICAGO (AP) -- Authorities found two bodies at the home of a federal judge Monday night, and Chicago police and the FBI were investigating.

The bodies were found at the home of U.S. District Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow, but the judge was uninjured, police spokesman Patrick Camden said.

He declined to elaborate.

FBI agents were assisting police but would provide no details.

well, I know that and you know that. But when something lke this happens, the survivor feels guilty. And if it happened because of who she came in contact with while a Judge, she will. I am a woman, I know how women think. You are rational but this takes away all ability to be rational.

I don't think all federal judges necessarily have protection. It's probably case by case. The judge who presided over the 93 WTC bombers has constant protection.

I am not understanding what you mean. Sure people who do what she does know there are risks, she was threatened.
But even so, to have you mother and husband killed can't be just another day in the life of a judge. I don't think she would think her family was necessarily at risk.
