Instead of fishing for every conceiveable method of stopping terrorists, how about we let the passengers carry knives. One or Five idiots with box cutters will be overwhelmed by 200 knive weilding passengers.
Wouldn't it be easier to just go ahead and handcuff and blindfold airline passengers?

This is getting ridiculous. A lot of everyday items can be used as weapons so you can't ban everything. During my first week of Nursing School we all had to attend a self defense class after several Nurses were murdered in parking lots. We were taught how to kill or disable someone with car keys or a Bic pen.
Ban everything, and put everyone in prison.
LOL OUr tax dollars at work. We leave our borders wide open, but ban smokers from their lighters in case they want to light a "bomb."
