Popstar Moby dreams of "The United States of Canada."

Deciding to take a trip once again to this freak's website, I discovered this latest bit of crap from the Pop Star Moby. Here is his entry in full. This guy has no clue how dumb he really is. I didn't realize it either until I read this journal entry...

flying from toronto to nyc. canada is such a nice place. i really do wish that the northern blue states could be annexed by canada and thus create 'the united states of canada.' as i said to some of the journalists in toronto, we would gladly give up our guns in order to forge a more perfect union with our northern neighbors(soon, hopefully, to become countrymen). i mean seriously, can't we just let the red states go off on their own to do whatever it is they want to do, while those of us in the blue states pledge our new allegiance to the u.s of c? we'll even learn 'o canada'. we could salvage the nhl and rename it the chl. and the red states would be happier without us. sure they might have to tighten their belts and learn to live without the hundreds of billions of dollars in tax money that flows from the blue states to the red states(just think, canada, annex the blue states and you could get all of those hundreds of billions of dollars for yourself...and broadway...and hollywood...and some nice beaches). it is ironic that the red states talk about family values and morality but that massachusets has the lowest abortion rates and lowest divorce rates in the country, while the deep south has the highest rates of divorce and abortion... yup, the red states really are bastions of moral virtue, huh. canada is a great place. the people are nice. please, canada, can't you come and save us from ourselves? we'll leave our guns at the door and return like the proverbial prodigal sons that we are. moby I wonder if he realizes how much money the Canadien tax system would "annex" from his bank account if he were a citizen there? LOL :)

As for divorces in the great blue north-east, I have it on good authority that everyone has a wife, mistress and girlfriend (think klinton's marriage). I wouldn't consider supporting such "marriages" as MORAL.

Wow, Moby just admitted that abortion is immoral.

"red states talk about family values and morality but that massachusets has the lowest abortion rates"

Come on Moby, use your last name. More appropriate.

Oops! Maybe Moby would like to have a "do over" on that one.

I am serious here, who is Moby?

sorry I've no clue either. But I was wondering if the Katie Couric you hear about recently is the same "perky Katie" that used to be a teevee show personality on one of the old Big Media channels back in the 20th century?

According to the 2005 World Almanac, Alabama in 2000 (the latest year they give figures for) had 13,830 abortions. Perhaps there was a larger number of abortion clinics operating in 2000, but that would be somewhere around 40-45 a day depending on how many days a year they were closed...so perhaps a single abortion mill would have sufficed.

"i mean seriously, can't we just let the red states go off on their own to do whatever it is they want to do, while those of us in the blue states pledge our new allegiance to the u.s of c?"

Sounds like a good idea to me. Let them have the blue states and good riddance.

There was a follow up report that the statistics were cherry picked and skewed to get the desired results. Don't feel like searching, try google.

Of the 13 states with the lowest abortion rates in 2000 (under 10 per 1000 women of childbearing age), 12 of them voted for Bush in 2004. The only exception was Wisconsin, which probably would have been in Bush's column except for election fraud by the Democrats.

D.C. had the highest abortion rate (68.1) and the highest percentage of votes for Kerry. Of the 11 states with a rate of 22.2 or higher in 2000, 9 voted for Kerry (the other two were Florida and Nevada).

I don't know about this Moby knucklehead but I'd suggest folks look into the "FTAA" threads on FR to see the concerns raised about this sovereignty robbing piece of garbage that Bush was supposed to be signing on to in Jan. FTAA is to be this hemispheres version of the EU which raises questions about it's effects on our borders, legal system, currency, etc. I've maintained for some time that illegal immigration is the conditioning process for the open borders nonsense that FTAA will bring.

I think Eminem said it best:

and Moby you can get stomped by Obie,
you 36 year old bald headed fag blow me
You don't know me,
you're too old let go its over,
nobody listens to techno

I understnad that this guy is actually a greatgrandson or some such of Herman Melville's.

I think he has taken after his ol' pappy and created
a "white whale" out of his liberal notion of idealism.

Hopefully, he'll harpoon himself to it and sink to the briny deep, just like old Ahab.

I just wish their was enough line to take his whole PETA, ELF, enviro-whacko's with him.

I have to call foul with the title of this article. "Pop star" Moby? Is he really a star? Isn't he most famous for being mocked in an Eminem song?
