Charles Taylor has left power in Liberia (once U.S. troops landed there). Afghanistan has had free elections. Iraq has had free elections. The Ukraine has had free elections. Even the Palestinians have had a fair election.
Elections in Jordan, and at a low level even in Saudi Arabia, too.
