MEDIATION?!!!!!!!!!!! That Bishop has lost his every lovin' mind - or he's dumb as a door. For God's sake - Can you imagine the Schindler's sitting down with the monster who wants to murder their daughter and have a nice cozy little discussion and try to work it out. FOR GOD'S SAKE, THIS BISHOP IS TOTALLY NUTS!!!!!!! God help us all.

I must agree with your observation! That is why I tok the time to transpose and post the whole statment.

The Bishop is mis-informed. Judge Greer has, what were the words, Ordered and Ajudicated that her feeding Tue be removed...

So it is NOT Michael giving the order like the Bishop says, it is a Judge. Judicial Homocide. I wonder why the Bishop still considers Michael as Terri's husband?? I would think that the Bishop would say theat Michael abandoned his marriage vows and has abandoned Terri.

I am flat out amazed that the Bishop out out this statement. Yeah right, mediation, that's a non-starter. The Bishop puts forth a solution that can not possibly be met, thus it isn't a solution at all, and he knows better. I jsut don't understand it at all.

What a WIMPY, WIMPY statement by "Bishop" Lynch. He should have followed the lead of the Vatican Cardinal. Lynch should be OUTRAGED by all this and should state so PUBLICLY!!!!!
He should be DEMANDING that NO ONE touch a HAIR on Terri Schiavo's head and that Terri's LIFE be SPARED. HE SHOULD PUBLICLY DENOUNCE THE ACTIONS OF MICHAEL SCHIAVO AND SHOULD ASK SCHIAVO TO CEASE AND DESIST THESE ACTIONS NOW!!!!

Instead LYNCH behaves as if the CHASM between the Schindlers and Michael Schiavo, is some sort of minor, petty disagreement that has gone awry and if BOTH Parties would just come to their senses, it can be resolved.

YOU should BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF, BISHOP LYNCH. Man of God indeed. You are NOTHING more than a sniveling COWARD!!!!!!

He doesn't answer his own calls, but he is aware he is getting calls from many angry Catholics among whom his reputation is now MUD!

Yes, he most certainly WILL.
Besides publicly condemning those who would see Terri Schiavo DEAD, he should have been encouraging the members of his flock, particularly in the Archdiocese of St. Petersburg, to demonstrate and speak out on her behalf. He should have urged his pastors to be certain Terri Schiavo be remembered in the prayers of the faithful on Sunday, as well as offer daily mass for her and he should have been urging Catholic politicians in the State of Florida to come to Terri's aide.

BISHOP LYNCH IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAMEFUL DISGRACE TO THE CATHOLIC FAITH. HE DOES NOT DESERVE HIS MOST ESTEEMED POSITION IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!!!!!
