There is every reason to think Frist will support this. Because a staffer indicated he hadn't taken an official position on it yet doesn't suggest he won't. His staff might be looking it over, he might be looking it over, he might be consulting with legal experts in the Senate because he is a medical, not a legal expert, and this is a totally legal-type bill.
I have been finding that the the staffers that I have talked to are the least bit confused about this...gosh, I wish I had their job. LOL
