I have been finding that the the staffers that I have talked to are the least bit confused about this...gosh, I wish I had their job. LOL

Many staffers are low-paid telephone contacts and are not expected to know the details of legislation. Others are more knowledgeable and committed to the various bills being considered. Most of them probably don't have strong opinions on most bills under consideration.

Another freeper had a good point: there's every reason to believe Frist will support this legislation. That freeper is right. I think Frist will do the right thing, but he just hasn't briefed his staff about it fully yet.
