I know so little about this whatever it is...but what I have read of hubbard's words...quoted regarding the disabled...is so sick...I guess I am sort of shocked. How could anyone, with an ounce of compassion, give even a split second's worth of consideration to joining this .....cult (only word that comes to mind)?

It is indeed a cult. Most people don't know enough about it to be afraid. I think a few years back, Germany banned it.

That reminds me that Nazism was also based on the occult, with a mystical sense of the "fitness" of certain people to live and of others to die. So much of what we are forced to observe about this case is reminiscent of the viewpoint of the newly-empowered Nazis, who began their horrendous crimes by killing the disabled, and LYING about killing the disabled.

It is awesome to see the same combination of violence and deceit be so easily accepted by the population. Can't they see they are being lied to?

Terri's fate is not even so much about Terri's personal fate. I really believe that if she had been, say, killed in a tornado from last year's hurricanes, that would not have suited the purposes of Felos, Schiavo, Greer, and the other promoters of death. The significance of this judicial murder will be as a precedent used to expand the eutha-nazi movement beyond all bounds we thought American civilization was capable of.
