Cruise is a dedicated Scientologist, and I had a friend who did some work for those folks in Clearwater. They are very crafty .. everything's positioned in a marketing tone .. very light and very subtle. I've also been told by someone who lives in the area that it's a true cult, and that they're the majority property owner in Clearwater. Knowing what I know about them, it would not surprise me in the least if they were a behind-the-scenes force in this travesty.

It is ALL OVER THE PLACE in Clearwater...I don't know much about scientology...but I did read the part about their attitude towards disabled persons....it is awful.

The site below is an article about Scientology and Judge Greer and the Clearwater Bar Association. It is a very uncomfortable article in terms of explaining how rampant the connections between the attorneys there and the Church of Scientology are.
