I never said that people who worked behind the scenes are wrong. Cheryl Ford and many other Terri volunteers work behind the scenes. We work behind the scenes. I said that our elected officials have to be open about their support for Terri. They represent the people and Terri is an innocent citizen who has been starved more than once because of inaction on the part of our leaders. If they are working behind the scenes, fine, but they need to be more vocal in front.

Why did the GOP support Judge Greer's renomination? If more of our leaders had spoken out about this travesty, he wouldn't have gotten their support. It's fine to work behind the scenes, but we need those with a bully pulpit to be front and center. She only has 9 days left.

Technically, the GOP did not support George W. Greer's "renomination." Greer was opposed in a nonpartisan judicial election by a fellow member of his church named Jan Govan. Greer defeated Govan, 65-35. Greer was a Republican county commissioner before he entered the "nonpartisan" court. The GOP establishment in Pinellas and Pasco counties is strongly behind Greer, who calls himself a "conservative" and claims he is only "enforcing the law" in Terri's demise. Nothing could be further from the truth. The monster is a tyrant, just a toned-down version of Adolf Hitler.

For far too long now Politicians in general get away with NON answers by giving lukewarm nothing explanations. They are PAID to represent the people. They can therefore ANSWER A QUESTION STRAIGHT UP!!
